Woohoo! I finished marking my students' final exam papers yesterday and there's no work for me for a while so I'm truly relaxing and enjoying myself as much as I can while my fellow colleagues are still slaving away with marking. Hehehe..

SERVICE AND PRICE LIST

We are offering a package where we designed custom layouts for you. For your information, I am already charging a low price for this service.

Custom Scrapbook
- Just like the name suggested, the layouts that you order will be custom-made for you. It won't be available on the market at all. What you need to do is supply me with pictures that you want me to scrap with along with additional information that you wanted to add on the layout. Please email me (star4dream AT yahoo DOT com) for details on how to send your pictures.

- Price Range:
4x6 (Approximately 4R size)
1 page RM7,
*If you order more than 20, it will be RM5 for the following pages*

8x8 (Approximately 8R size)
1 page RM15
*If you order more than 20, it will be RM12 for the following pages*

What do you need to provide me with?
1. Pictures that you want me to work with. Give me lots of options, meaning that you would have to give me lots of pictures so that I can choose the best one that suits the layout(s). Please make it HIGH-RESOLUTION or otherwise it wouldn't look nice when it's printed.

2. Information about the pictures. e.g. the WHERE, WHEN, HOW, WHY, etc. Any additional information that you think is appropriate is welcomed.

3. If there are only a few pictures that you want me to work with, you can just send it to my email (star4dream AT yahoo DOT com). If there are a lot, there are two options.

Option 1: Burn it into a CD and mail it to me. (Please email me for the address).
Option 2: Burn it into a CD and a set up appointment to meet somewhere. KL and Selangor area only.

I kindly ask for deposit of at least 50% of the whole amount if you are ordering for the price of more than RM100. 50% upon ordering and another 50% upon delivery.

* Basically, I am only charging on the supplies and just a little bit for my time, energy, creativity, etc.

* Printing is another matter altogether. I would be giving you the flattened version of the layout, which means that you would have to print it out yourself. If you need me to print it out and send it to you, that's another charge. Please inform me if you need that service.

ABOUT - THE INTRODUCTION

Sya's Digital Creations (SDC for short) is basically a business venture of two sisters. I, Sya, is the Creative Director of the whole business, which basically means that I am the one who designed all the layouts available for sale. My sister, Eyzzah, will be helping me to handle the customer service.

Our business venture started out in January 2008, when our father told me to sell my crafts to some online peeps that I know. That time, I had only been using free stuff to design my layouts and I'm not allowed to use the freebies if I wanted to design layouts for others and get paid for it. So, I started asking for some information from a digiscrapbooking forum and found out that I would be able to do something they called scrap for hire (S4H for short) if I purchased kits from designers who allow S4H use without license and additional fee.

So here I am, ready to be at your service.

Hello peeps! Just a quick update. I wanted to share this, something that I had been working on for the past month. Finally finished Set 1, a lot more sets to go..

These are the layouts that I made for my parents' 2007 travel book. This set is for when they went to Korea in July 2007. I should have started with the UK/Austria set because they went there in June, but I had already started on this, so I just went on with it.

Anyway, I'm kinda busy right now, with Creative Team assignments (which I love, by the way!) and I just received a huge order from Leen. You can still order from me. If it's just one or two pages, I'll get it done as soon as possible but if it's a huge order (more than 20), you would have to wait a little longer..

Liza was my junior when I was still studying in the uni. She was my favourite. LOL.. Macam la kenal ramai sangat juniors kan? Actually, I got to know her because our apartments are next to each other. Thankfully, we still managed to keep in touch with each other, thanks to YM. LOL... Anyway, she ordered these two LOs of her and her fellow friends..

Update on Custom Samples

Mira ordered this for Vday.. It's an 8x10 with red and white colour scheme. Mira and her boyfriend were wearing blue coloured clothing in original picture, so in order to not make it too clashing, I turned the photo to sepia. The wording that she requested was 'Love is not what we become, but what we already are.' I think that's sweet. Hope your BF love the gift, Mira!!

Here's an LO I made for Kak Ina, made using lauraskathi's Gabriella kit. I had just downloaded it and just HAD to use it for this LO. Anyway, Kak Ina ordered another LO from me but unfortunately she had forbidden me to share the LO here. Just have to say that I'm honoured to do that LO for you, Kak Ina!!

And last but not least, this is not exactly for any of my clients but just wanted to share what I did for my dad for his birthday last January.. This is what you can ask me to do also. If you don't want to pening fikir about how to tempah square frames, just ask me to do a specific size like what I did for Mira.. (I can do 4x6, 5x7, 8x10)

Just wanna update that all three ready-made pages is now NO LONGER AVAILABLE. And I am no longer going to do that. You can still order custom-made layouts though.

Invitation Cards for Kak Anna

We had just received the invitation card from Kak Anna. So excited to see it in print!! Anyway, last month, when I was just starting out, my sister told me that Kak Anna would like me to design invitation cards for her daughter's 2nd birthday. I was reluctant at first but after asking around, I found out that I would be able to design the cards for her since it's not commercial work. So I went to work and ended up designing FOUR cards for her. Mind you, she only asked for ONE. LOL... See, nampak la sangat I ni takde kerja kan? When I showed her the samples, she ended up taking all four designs. I'm so flattered!! Anyway, here are the cards. My favourite is the first one: the pink with the big, glittery heart and that was what we got. :)

Another client of mine, Kak Elisa, had also printed out her scrapbook layouts and she seemed satisfied with the outcome. Satisfied customer makes one very satisfied designer to see all her work paid off. Teehee.. I wanted to share what I had done for her, but thought of holding it off for a bit cos the scrapbook is for someone so in order not to spoil the surprise, I'll post the picture when I get the heads up from Kak Elisa. :)
